Today is known as "Green Friday," as this is one of the most profitable days of the years for most retailers. If you're willing to arrive at certain stores as early as 5:30 (or earlier) in the morning, you just might get some great deals. But remember that none of them will help your retirement. This might be one of those times when sleeping in really is a profitable exercise.
