In addition to the oft-discussed monetary concerns, I've shared that friends, health, geography and hobbies are top retirement considerations. Do you agree? Why or why not? What else would you add to the top list?

Flying into the sunset

You all know the three considerations in purchasing real estate: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. In retirement, I would have to assign that criteria to AT LEAST half the considerations. Whatever wets your whistle, makes you smile, or causes whatever hair you have left to come to attention, you can attribute the remaining considerations. As you grow within the Military community, you will probably have a little control in your assignment locations, RONs, TDY, etc. Use these trips to guage the locations as potential retirement AOs. Good luck and GODSPEED!
